Mirage – main battle type, Mystic displacement field makes hard to hit, photon blasts from eyes, two tentacles that extend from the shoulders, mystic clones that perform all actions Katie can do.

Specter- stealth, cold touch, phasing, poisonous gas released from the body

Vampire- heavy flying type, can cause blood to boil by mere thought, shoot poisonous barbs, mystic blood bomb causes those caught in radius to internally hemorrhage.

Nightmare: heavy weapons, sharp talons, shoulder pods shoot tracking shots, tentacle sheath to entangle, mystic blast of 400 yard range

Phantom: main battle type, arcane blasts from eyes, bone blades that extend from forearms, stunning howl, tentacle sheath that can entangle and consume a victim in a 30 ft reach

Shadow: stealth combat, invisible, thorns out of hands, forearms, shoulders, lower legs and feet, needle pods out of chest, can teleport

Whisper: light flying type, whips from arms, blinding bombs that act like flares, razorwing attack allows Katie to fly at supersonic speeds though obstacles with the aid of the already sharp wings

Background: Millions of years ago, there was a planet called Tag’e. Civilization there was based on a fusion of magic and technology. Several of the greatest heroes had sealed themselves in a tablet after defeating a great evil, claiming they would return when needed.

The planet was attacked by a race called the Colmelians, and despite the best efforts of the defenders, Tag’e looked poised to fall. The Colmelians had already killed the keepers of the tablet in the first strike, so the heroes could not be called. When their defeat seemed imminent, the last surviving Tag’e decoded a fail-safe, which destroyed the invaders, but also caused a cataclysm that destroyed the planet completely.

The tablet was completely destroyed, except for a small fragment the size of a human thumb. The shard travelled countless light-years through space. The shard landed in her backyard. As she collected rocks, she picked it up, feeling a slight static shock as she did so. Afterwards she would experience strange dreams. Several weeks later, due to a prank that involved honey, a paint bomb, feathers, and shaving cream at school, her anger caused her to morph into one of the Tag’e. The government appeared and tranquilized her. However, even though she was unconscious, the Tag’e aspect continued to fight until it was heavily stunned. She then woke up in the Area.
