Is it just me, or does the dragon look like a Pokemon? :O It's got Bulbasaur's face and Pikachu's ears. If you're mixing Pikachu and Bulbasaur's look-alikes, then yeah I would think in a way that it kinda does. It didn't look so dragon-like to me when the trailer show it. But I think it could be just a baby dragon because dragons are really suppose to be big and long and this one seems to be too short and stubby to be a young one in a cub-like form. |

Oh, wait. I was just looking up the voice actor of Hiccup and it looked like I already clicked on it on IMDb. I usually don't do that, so I was all, "Who is Jay Baruchel again?" Turns out he was from Knocked Up. Haha.

Never seen anything about that movie yet. I must say, I'm looking forward to that one now. Love medieval fantasy stories with a passion. I actually don't think Hiccup's voice was bad. It sounds appropriate to me; not too old, not too young. It has a nasally sound to it, but that just fits his "nerdy", inventive personality. While the plot has been done before, this is Dreamworks we're talking about here. They seem to put twists on the familiar; macho jock with a convincing sensitive side, mad scientist with a degree in dancing, insatiable blob with the heart of a child, legendary warrior with a pot belly, etc. I'm sure something will surprise us. Now, on topic, I'm no diehard fan of either company. I like what I like, simple as that. I can like a Pixar movie, while hating a Dreamworks film. I can hate Pixar, while adoring Dreamworks. I can like both. It depends on the individual movie. Yeah Hiccups voice to me just captures his nerdyness now if it was higher I think that would be better. |

Yeah, I think the voice should be a bit younger.
I'll change the pitch with Audacity for the sake of curiosity and see if it sounds better to me. :)
Edit: Well, that didn't work out like I thought it might. So I dunno. Haha.
