Ok, ok... I'm gonna give you some obscure ones here, just to see who will actually do some research:
Ginormica vs. Asgard (WA5)
Doc vs. Jade Curtis
BOB vs. Pyramid Head (not for the squeamish)
Link vs. Edge Maverick

Ginormica Vs. Asgard: Seeing as the golems are magical robots, and we know what Ginormica does facing giant robots, I give this victory to Susan Murphy.
Dr. Cockroach vs. Jade Curtis: Cockroach is a jack of all trades. Curtis's reanimative skills are impressive, as are his replicator abilities, but he's a bit of a narrow specialist. Cockroach can make anything with anything, and he's got the acrobatic skills for one-on-one combat. This round goes to the monsters.
BOB vs. Pyramid Head: Stalemate. Bob doesn't seem able to dissolve living things, and Pyramid Head's attacks are all slashing, peircing, base physical means of assault unable to affect the gelatinous mass. BOB even lacks the requisite anatomical features for Pyramid Head's less PG-rated forms of violence.
Link vs Edge Maverick: Could go either way. It depends on where the fight takes place, and what level of weaponry is allowed.

It depends on where the fight takes place, and what level of weaponry is allowed. I agree on some of your assessments. Ginormica would beat Asgard, but I don't think it would be a walk in the park for her. I guess you'd have to see some of the feats Asgard pulls off to get where I'm coming from. But eventually, Asgard would run out of power, while Ginormica would still be warming up. But I think Jade would actually beat Doc. Again, I guess you'd have to play the game and get to know the character. Jade is a reknowned genius who created the theory of cloning in his game, which turned out to be correct. Not only that, but he is trained in melee combat using a spear (which he has applied his knowledge to give himslef the ability to "phase" it in and out of existence, pulling it out whenever needed). Then, he is an accomplished "fonist" (magic user), capable of tearing the ground apart, summoning lightning, meteor showers, etc. But most dangerous of all, he is extremely clever. He even outsmarts three of the enemy army's most powerful generals right after being striped of most of the above mentioned abilities. BOB would definitely tie PH, if he isn't scared to death. I only chose Edge Maverick because he is notorious for being an incredibly emo wussy boy... You know what? You just have to see it to believe it. Here: It starts after the getaway (which consists of extremely corny friendship dialog, situations that hint at pedophilia, and time-stopping discussions that halt the progress of a black hole, and magical deux ex machina time travel) I guess that's what I get for pulling out some obscure match-ups... Lesson leanred.

Well, Edge's emotional status is irrelevant when considered against his combat abilities.
Yeah, sorry if I misjudged the matches, but I was only able to base them on the knowledge I had from Wikipedia.

Yeah, I know. I don't blame ya. Like I said, my fault for choosing such obscure match-ups. As far as the Edge Maverick thing, I just wanted to give people a laugh at how poorly written the game was.
Ok, time for some damage control here. Some real match-ups:
Link vs. Aquaman
Doc vs. Baxter Stockman (TMNT)
BOB vs. A Boy and His Blob (sorry to post a trailer, but it shows the most variety of what the blob can do)
Ginormica vs. all the bad movies on the Satellite of Love... Sorry, I'm fresh out of creativity at the moment.

Link vs. Aquaman: I'd have to go with Aquaman. He can contact anytype of sea creature to help him so Link would be out numbered easily with whales and sharks. Doc. vs Baxter: Don't know. TMNT haven't ever really interested me so I don't know. Bob vs Blob: I would have to say Bob. He could easily suck the boy into him and eat his jelly beans at the same time. What's Satellite of Love?

The Satellite of Love is the space vessel setting of Mystery Science Theater 3000, whereupon a mild mannered man and his robot pals are forced to watch cheesy b movies. Ginormica can grow to confront many situations, but not this. You didn't even give her robot pals. She just managed to get through a few months of captivity with some good friends and the hope of an idealized Derek. The isolation and mental battery would prove too much for her.

ZOMG! I loved Mystery Science Theater 3000. They made me laugh very much. I agree with Fuzzy. Susan couldn't take it and keep her sanity for too long.

You can't really have a contest there, because you're pairing them up against entire worlds/settings, with a whole seperate ecology of creatures. That's like saying "Who would win, a bengal tiger, or Mexico?"

So? It's a "Who would Win?" thingie! We shall and can do this because...well...because we can and it is fun! This isn't ever goin' to happen so why not? Don't bring logic into this realm Fuzzy. or I shall do...something! Yes!
