Has anyone else since the movie Avatar (that's a stupid question, right? It did make the third most highest grossing movie).
I loved that movie! Na'vi for the win! Woot. It was amazing. I loved that their were hidden messages in that movie. It was awesome.

I saw the movie about 3 weeks ago a day after New Years when I took my cousin to go see it with me in IMAX 3D. I was so far very impressed on how done everything went so well with the film. Might be even good to get it on Blu-Ray too But what's a big fuss is that some people can get the title confused with Avatar: The Last Airbender because of the same first name.

I haven't seen it, nor do I care to. From what I hear (from people that have seen it), it's visually astonishing, yes, but everything else is taken from other movies. Essentially, it boils down to another White Messiah film without actually trying to do anything different or surprising (again, not talking visuals).
Maybe it isn't fair of me to say such things without watching it first. Oh well. Don't let me rain on the parade. My views are second hand, and therefore, not worth much consideration.

Eh? I knew that most of the movie was taken from other stuff but the fun part is learning the spin that person put into the movie. For example: Two movies could have the same plot but the spin on one movie could be the hero dies a the war or in the other one he dies from something fanasty-like. Like I read this book once, it had similar sense to Avatar but it ended with the hero going back to his world and saving it while the race he had been with died because he left or something. I can't remember the name of it though. You should go see it anyway, not forcin' ya but ya should just see it just to enjoy yourself. My mother went to see it and enjoyed it and she's not into movies at all! Or, at least most of them. Eh? Why did I write this?

I kinda liked it but one thing that got me mad was the whole "humans are all bad" They never even gave a reason other than"unobtainium" Ironic isn't it? What is unobtainium?why do we need it? NEVER EXPLAINED. I love the movie but could've put a twist on the plot.I hope that happens in the sequel which was annouced. Also did you notice there only being white soldiers?Or only like 2 hispanics and 1 African-american? I mean unless we're STILL seperated on earth..... As for the visuals I think they could've done better with the 3D....The only time I saw something pop was the person STANDING in line and at the end which is kinda awesome. I think they cut too much out of the movie myself.I hear ALOT got cut for time. Also I hope the sequel shows earth and the humans side of things not just the Na'vi. Also the characters felt flat except for Jack Sully. He seemed to be the only round character there.Another thing the whole Transfer-Body thing where the people held hands...Made me laugh my pants off. They looked like hippies dancing on the ground...XD I'm quite impressed by the visuals.....The only reason they didn't hit The Uncanny Valley is because they aren't human. Now the grass and plant life was quite realistic. Also I heard that some people got depressed after seeing Avatar. Did anyone of you guys feel this?I think thats kinda funny....

Yes, yes it is Baycrum. Very Ironic. I believe the reason why they need it was because, though this is from my memory and searching, Earth is pretty much dieing away from all the stuff we've done too it. I think you can't leave your home without wearing those masks you had. I'm not really sure what the rock wouldn't done but it had to do something with Earth or somethin'. I don't know.
Now that you telling me this, I didn't notice that! The thing with the white soilders. I really didn't notice.
Yeah, I think alot was cut from the movie, which sorta sucks cause I wanna know what else would've been in that awesome movie.
Felt Flat?? I'd say some of the main characters went into character development. At the start, Grace didn't like Jake at all but by the end before her death and stuff she was like a really good friend of his. Norm also had some development. I thought he was jealous of James a little.
Hippies! Yeah, that made me laugh too. Wait? Aren't Human? Whatcha mean by that? Yeah, the plant life was really realistic.
Hey! I almost cried at some parts of the movie and I am proud of it! Did it not sent the vibe to make you cry? Like the part where the war gets most of the main characters? Or when the mother tree went bye-bye or Neytiri father? Then again, it could just be me and my weak heart. I'll cry at almost anything that dies unless if I hate that thing or something.
