I'm reading one of the best series ever made, the Hunger Games! It takes place in the future, where natural disasters and wars caused North America to crumble. Out of the ashes, a new country, Panem, was founded. It's commanded by a cruel dictator who controls 13 districts. District 13 rebelled against the Capital and 13 was destroyed. In punishment, two children from ages 12 to 18 are selected to play in the Hunger Games. In these games, the objective is to basically kill each other until there's only one contestant left.
The main character is a 16 year old girl named Katniss from district 12. Day by day, she and her friend, Gale, struggle to provide for their families when Katniss's siter, Prim, is selected...
