The only CANON pairing in this entire film is done as a joke.
That is something I really admire about Monsters vs. Aliens.

I admire a fandom with a lot of crackpairing possibilites. Where else could I get away with blob/dessert and squid alien/computer pairings? I mean, that's such a huge percentage of my posted shippy fic. Heh...

Actually, Carl Murphy's name was spoken in the movie. It was when Susan was turning into Ginormica for the first time.
Wendy Murphy: "Oh, Carl! It's her wedding day!"

I don't think Jello is gonna be shown that much in the future series because they can't keep the romance focus too long if they're too busy doing something else.

I just want a callback. That's all I ask. THEIR LOVE IS SO EPIC! But, yeah, if I had to pick one thing for the fan response to convince the creators to put into the actual show, it would be B.O.B./Jello.
