...But doesn't know it?
A running gag in the film is that B.O.B. has to be reminded that he's not Susan, meaning he isn't going back to Modesto to be with Derek.
But I was thinking, if he had psychic powers, he could feel what Susan feels about longing to go back home and return to a fiancée, and in turn could feel so empathetic that he feels the same way. Then he'd want to go back to the same home and return to the same fiancée.
Sequel power reveal? :D

Hmm... well, since B.O.B. lacks an actual brain, it's possible that his gelatin-like body is somehow sensitive enough to pick up brainwave signals and vibrate them back vocally... I guess? It's an interesting theory none the less.

I'm trying to remember if this happen before or after Susan was talking about Derek and wanting to go to Paris and things like that, cause while this is worth the mentioning, it's really hard for me to answer.
B.O.B. does lack a poor sense of brain, we know that, but the other monsters around him have been sticking to him for a long long time, so....hmmm....I think this is the wrong spot for me to try to stick a point somewhere that would be making sense lol
If my memory is correct, Link DID say that Dr. C has been experimenting on Susan for about a month now, so B.O.B.'s memories about going back to Modesto to be with Derek would be uhhh...easy to remember, and them he thinking that he was...well...Susan? That didn't came out clear. I'll just have to agree with Nobility said about this ^^;

I'm impressed. What a unique idea. You're really firing up the fanspec, aurum.
I don't have much more to say, other than to echo that I think Nobility said it, as she so often does, quite elquently.

Sorry for the necro-post, but is it safe to say that this theory is at least partially canonized with the release of B.O.B.'s Big Break?

Maybe he still retains some of his telepathy and doesn't know it?
It also makes me wonder if a Dreamworks employee checked out TV Tropes and got the idea from there. XD

I don't think he physic just the creators that it would be funny if he kept thinking he was Susan and he has no brain.
