Hey, all. Been a while since I last posted. My faith was spreading thin.
Ever since I heard the news two years ago, that MvA was not going to become a franchise struck me hard.
I decided to take matters into my own hands. By purchasing screenplay writing books, plus after seeing numerous films and television programs, I decided to plan a MvA sequel and hope Dreamworks would approve.
Of course, the reality of it with copyright issues and finding the right connections, I decided to deal with that when the time comes.
I had this dream for almost a year (2010) but stopped when reality and realization that it wouldn't work stopped me.
Suddenly, the fire is reburned. I plan to make this a reality.
I will need positive support of course.
I would like if any of you would like to hear this concept, even though it's not complete yet.
Would any of you like to know more?

I would gladly hear it! And even if we can't make it go to DreamWorks, we always can write down the story. That's why FanFiction is there. LOL x3

Now for the plot (for the record this is all a work in progress)
My planned sequel takes place after the movie and the Halloween special.
The monsters are making a name for themselves helping out around the earth, battling any threats that require their skills.
Soon, Susan is jogging early in the morning (I hope to expand on Ginormica's wardrobe without fear of her becoming a sexual symbol) A large squid like space probe secretly follows her while jogging. When far away from Area Fifty-Somethings Base, the squid fights her. Susan puts up a valiant fight, but in the end, gets captured and the probe launches itself into space. The monsters and General Monger soon catch wind of their friends abduction and launch a rescue operation using Gallaxar's robot probe to construct a faster than light spacecraft. With an OK from the President, (the monsters will be in the war room) the team gets to work. Meanwhile, Susan is transported to a large spaceship (larger than Gallaxars!) where she is forced to partake in American Gladiator type and Gladitoral challenges, along with other captured skilled extra terrestrials. The rules are simply, play well, provide superb entertainment and on occassions win. Failure to do so, the contestants planet is destroyed! During the games, Susan builds up a reputation and befriends a fellow contender: TIHEAI an extraterrestrial Bruce Lee (the characters name is a anagram of Bruce Lee's final character from the incomplete Game of Death, Hai Tien). The captain and host to the games VOTA, is ithe antagonist. He allows these games to provide acquate entertainment for the audience from any star system, which he hopes to expand into an enterprise, but not for riches and fame, for entertainment pure and simple.
It will have lots of action, dramatic moments, humurous bits (courtesy of Link, Bob and Dr. C
Plus a film on this scale is indeed going to be in 3-D.
I hope this concept will appeal to audiences overseas and become very worthy to Dreamworks.
For the length, I hope it to be within the 1hr 50 - 2 hours even mark.
So, what do you think? I'd be glad to answer any questions.

An extra bit. For this, I would like to see Ginormica really cut loose, become an even more action girl. I planned for my proposed villain Vota to gather particles from a nearby nebula, then coat Susan while she is sleeping. The result: various abilities to add something new to each challenge
Examples: Enhanced reflexes and agility; metallic skin (a la Colossus of X-Men) maybe even traits from her friends; Link's reptillian skin, tail and ability to breath underwater, BOB's gelaatinous state w/elasticity, and Dr. Cockroach's roach skin and brilliant mind (none of the craziness). The possibilities are limitless! Anyone wish to add on some ideas if any strike to mind?

The one thing I keep going back to is:
What happened to the outfit she got at the end of the movie?
It's the green and black one Galaxhar put her in when he finally manages to capture her.
From my point of view, that garment would be more suitable then overalls and sneakers. I'm assuming it was designed to complement her powers and be highly resistance to damage.
General rule, now matter how strong or invulnerable you are, your clothing is not as durable. Which is why I doubt that any garment, even one made by a supersecret Government project would be as advanced as the bodysuit Susan acquired from Galaxhar.
Granted, she wouldn't want to wear it all the time, but I'm imagining that she would put it on for missions, where danger is to be expected.

I'm sure she holds on to it for reasons to be known. And I'm sure the Area Fifty-Something staff can budget time and energy to creating various articles of clothing for Susan.
Plus, when a contestant aboard Vota's ship, I'm sure any concept artists would indulge their creativity.
Any other questions reguarding my sequel idea?

Thanks :-)
Glad to see some viewing my messages. I owe my creativity to my imagination and the mutipule viewings of MvA. I like it that much...
Anyway, I hope to make this idea a reality.
But in reguards to my sequel idea, I shall include more...
When Susan is taken aboard Vota's game world ship, upon seeing the quantonium energy readings in her body, he knew she would be his meal ticket.
Vota will know just as much about quantonium as Gallaxar. Probably even more than the latter, since he secretly coated her with particles from a nebula, which activates the adaptability Susan is going to develop a knack for.
During the final confrontation (details are for me to know and you to find out) Vota when battling Ginormica in a gigantic 52 ft tall battlesuit, he opens like Sebastian Shaw to Magneto in the final act of X-Men First Class, about how little she knows about the power she posesses and with the new skills Susan gained during the events, "You're just beginning to scratch the surface"
In this scene which is insanely fresh from my mind,
Vota: You can far more than what you already are
Susan: I already am, but you're right I could be an all powered giant than a regular giant...or I could just be me
(Vota's eye twiches at that remark): Who wants to be a REGULAR PATHETIC PERSON WHEN YOU CAN BE A GODDESS!
Susan: Sorry to burst your bubble, but it's my life to live, NOT yours!
Whatta think?
I'm still writing but the story is still in my mind and I just need to get it down and tweek it and maybe, just maybe, I'll take a trip to California, visit Dreamworks and hope they will at least have the time to look it over and think about it.
I'm just a big hearted creative fan who wants MvA to become a successful franchise
Is that to much to ask for?

Also, I feel with all this attention I'm giving Susan/Ginormica, I'm neglecting the other monsters. I'm working them into the story, but their parts are minium.
Makes me feel I'm not giving them enough :-(
Hope that's not the case

Attention to any and all members of this forum.
I require input from my fellow MvA fans because...
I want to try to make my sequel plan a reality. I developed a passion for this movie through the many times I viewed it.
I just want to do this one sequel and that will be all. I'm not asking for a trilogy, just another adventure.
I know some of the things I've shown appeal to the adventure, but there are funny elements, I just haven't worked them in yet or I hope if (and this is a pretty big if) get my roughdraft to Dreamworks, I hope they will handle a majority of the humor.
Am I hoping for too much?
