Should the aliens from the series appear in the sequel? Yes or no? Why or why not?

In my very personal opinion.
Only Coverton should be in the sequel. Actually, the whole sequel should evolve around him.
I never envied Sta'abi or Sqweep as characters. Their only purpose is to provoke Link and Cockroach. While Coverton has something mysterious and funny about him.

Only if the Coverton storyline was not resolved in the series. Although I think it would be interesting to deal with the invasion by the Coverlord.
Sqweep and Sta'abi though, I think they have their roles to play in thwarting the invasion. Probably throw in a scene where the invaders see them and ask why they're not assisting the invasion, as they are aliens. They won't like the answer though, Sqweep is triggerhappy and Sta'abi will most likely feed them to Vornicarn, probably in pieces.
As an aside, have they ever addressed what the political situation is with the aliens? Are they one species under a central government or several seperate nations who only work together out of necessity? The only information we are given is that Coverton pulled some political strings to get Sta'abi assigned permanently to Earth, in the hopes he could recruit her to his cause. Although I think he wouldn't have much luck, as Sta'abi would find assisting an invasion dishonorable. And then want to remove his fralnick.

Whatever. As I said earlier, it's personal opinions. I'd rather see only Coverton in the next movie, or even none of them and continue from another script.

I'm pretty sure they're different species but are governed by some kind of intergalactic code of conduct.

Well, I like looking at Coverton's aliens as something pretty much like the Covenant from Halo. With several species like Elites, Grunts, Hunters, Jackals and others. It's more exciting.
