AWESOME amvs I've come across:
"Monsters vs. Aliens - my Hero" by fierysnowflake
Excellent timing, awesome song (that's sung in RUSSIAN!) and one of my favorite MvA music videos. The translation is a little difficult to understand (it's Russian Engrish!), but that doesn't detract from anything.
"Dr. Cockroach & Susan - apologize"
Yet another video by fierysnowflake, and one of the best Dr. C/Susan vids on the 'net so far. This is one of those rare AMVs that tell a story, and I'll be darned if it's not one of the more touching amvs I've seen in a long time! The story is simply that Susan fails to rescue the monsters at the end of the film in the mothership. She escapes, but mourns the loss of her friends- particularly Cockroach, whom she just discovered she loved. A little sappy, perhaps, but dangit, it WORKS. Very convincing editing.
"Monsters vs. Aliens - Danzai No Hana" by theblooddragon92
By far my favorite AMV. One of my favorite movies combined with the ending theme for one of my favorite anime? EPIC WIN! Especially since, as any fan of Claymore would know, the song fits SO well. And the video is impressive, show-casing all of the monsters evenly and matches the footage nicely with the lyrics (even if they are in Japanese!) In fact, my only complaint with the video is that the song they're using is some weird modified version of the original Danzai no Hana, for some reason.

And how could I forget our resident AMV specialist, Samin? Her Dam Dadi Do video ranks high on the list of favorite amvs, if only because it's so darn addicting!
Uhh... yeah. If you can't tell, I'm a bit of an AMV-nut.

Wow. The picture quality was EXCELLENT on Ginormica's song considering the DVD hasn't been released yet- I wonder where she got the footage? But excellent video. It took me a while to recognize the song, but it worked well with the video and the subject, nice and forlorn. The second video I had seen before, and is pure EPICNESS. There's no other words to describe it.  |

Bayrum: MvA anime is cute, but the dubbing breaks down when it gets to the monsters.
The ultraviolet trailer is perfect though. ^__^

I'm not sure if I can double post this, but I think updating to let you guys know of more vids I've found is a good enough reason.
It's in HD on the main site, in case you wanted to see it in that format. I thought this was funny. :)
Here's some Gallaxhar vids:
I never liked this version, but I love how it works so well here. Besides, it's a lot better than hearing Gallaxhar sound like Ursula. (Trivia of the day: Gallaxhar was originally meant to be a heavyweight woman, akin to Ursula.)
Twisted Susan/Gallaxhar.
I've just got to say that it's ironic, the idea that Gallaxhar is from Russia. The reason aliens were so widespread movie concepts in the 1950s (Where MvA gets a lot of its references.) was because of the Red Scare. Aliens represented the communists who only wanted to destroy. Another way to enjoy this video! :)

LOL!!! MVA gots it's own 300 trailer spoof? Well this doesn't suprirse me cause every other movie that's out there on Youtube has always gotten their own version of a 300 version trailer, but gosh, that one is funny!  |
