Okay, I know I'm always talking about my mad love for the Doc, but the reason I went to the theatres to see the movie is RAINN EFFIN' WILSON. Seriously, he's one of my favorite actors and I have a not-so-secret crush on him, as well as a poster, a couple pics and his Gap ad on my wall. I barely even saw any ads for the movie before I went to see it... But I did see one of the really early teasers with the big actors and I immediately went YESSSS! I shall see this film! (He's the reason I went to see and ended up loving the otherwise totally unremarkable "The Rocker.")
It's the nerd glasses, I swear! They get me every time!
And he's such a cool guy in, like, every interview and commentary I've ever read/heard/seen. *dreamy sigh*
So, er, anyone else share a fraction of my unhealthy obsession?

I've never seen The Office before, but you can tell right away that he has that funny way for playing a geek. I didn't knew he was that guy from The Office til I check the cast listings from the movie.
His line for WHAT THE FLAGNOG cracks me up everytime. I think he pulled it off good when he was playing Gallaxhar for this role ^^

Yeah, I'm a huge Office fan. I write fic for it and everything. Oh, Dwight... <3 It's weird for me to like a sitcom so much (me love cartoons!) but the writing, acting, and characters are so superior to most.
The delivery of his lines as Gall sometimes reminds me of Dwight, actually. Like the "Omega Quadrant? Lame." line is sooo Dwightish.

LOL! I might have to give that show a chance one of these days. I know that Steve Carell is in it but I like his movies more the better. You just gave me a funny idea of Gallaxhar encountering Hammy from Over the Hedge for the first time since Steve HAS been in a Dreamworks movie before

I didn't even mean as a slash couple, but YOU'RE the one who went there... ^_^
Michael (Steve) and Dwight have, like, eighty million levels in their freaky friendship/Jedi Master-Padawan relationship on The Office, and talking about two characters voiced by them meeting purely because of the happenstance of them being on The Office made me juxtapose the many strange nuances of that established relationship onto Gall and Hammie. Where it should never, ever go.
