All right so everyone has talk about 9, District 9, Avatar, Tangled, The Princess and the Frog, Ponyo, and even a little bit of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, so now it's my turn to talk about a new upcoming movie.
Anyone ever heard of Alpha and Omega? Basically what it's about is these two wolves. One is an alpha named Kate and the other is an omega named Humphrey. And they get send away to Idaho, so they gotta get back to Canada soon. It's a new version tale of Balto combine with a storyline of Open Season.
And I think is that it could really turn out to be a great movie. It comes out on September 17 so it's reaching it's date closely soon next month. Do you guys wanna talk about it?
Here's the trailer!

I've heard of it.
I may have even gone to see it if something very bad hadn't happened to make me angry with it (and Rio too!).
Basically, to explain, Pixar (I hope I can get away with mentioning their name here!) were working on a film called Newt. It was about the last two blue footed Newts (a male and a female) who were supposed to breed to save the species, but they couldn't stand each other. From the limited prerelease information, it seemed like quite a good movie.
Then one day, out of the blue (pardon the pun), Pixar announced the movie was cancelled. The press released cited with the release of Alpha&Omega and Rio, it would be inappropriate to create a film with a similar theme.
That was when I took those movies off my list, in protest.
Basically, I take the stance that if you give Pixar a story similar to other movies and compare them all, the best one will always be the Pixar one.
Who cares if someone else is doing a similar story? In my opinion, Newt was going to be the best of the 3.
Alpha&Omega seems like a good film, so I'm not going to begrudge it that much or berate anyone who chooses to see it.
