I'm still wondering that myself.
They did do the halloween special a while back, which could have served as a test case to find out whether a series was viable or not.
I'm guessing it's still in production at the moment.
I'm not sure how many people work in the tv department of Dreamworks, but they're also doing a How to train your Dragon series concept as well, so they may have a heavy workload at the moment.

I just checked the official Dreamworks site.
The only mention of a tv series was relating to How to train your Dragon.
I hope that's not a bad sign.......

AWESOME...unfortunately I think our cable will be out by then. DANG IT ALLL TO THE DARKEST PITS IN HECK. -__- I'll have to hope for clips on youtube or somthing I guess.

I don't think a How To Train Your Dragon TV series will happen til AFTER their sequel comes out in 2013. That's a long way ahead. I'm still waiting for the Kung Fu Panda show after I saw sequel last weekend to celebrate my birthday.  HOLY CHEESE AND SPRINKLES!! October 21st you say? Before Halloween! What a very special gift. I thought BOB's Big Break on Nick was the test for a TV show but then again they also showed the Megamind short so it may just be a promotion thru Nick. Hopefully it will come soon.

I thought BOB's Big Break air on Nick BEFORE the release of the Monsters Vs Aliens DVD movie....didn't it? Cause I remember highly recording it on TV when it air that day and we didn't have the film yet.
