Welp, next week we're finally getting Sqweep- and with her her coming in, I hope we can finally get some episodes that are NOT focused on B.O.B.. We've basically had four straight episodes with him in a starring role (five if you count Toy From Another World, and that kinda can count) and it's wearing on very quickly- especially in the episodes when it's JUST Coverton and B.O.B.- they're dynamic is nowhere near as amusing as B.O.B. and any of the other monsters (it's basically just B.O.B. unknowingly torturing Coverton, like Spongebob and Squidward, and that's... not my favorite dynamic).

I know this show was originally described as a "spin-off series focusing on B.O.B.", which is a bit worrying. B.O.B. is simply not that strong a character on his own, despite what the marketers think of him- he's best in smaller dosages and he NEEDS the other monsters as his straight-men. Especially since the other characters can provide so many different kinds of humor, while B.O.B.'s just stuck with idiot humor. I'd really hate to see this show take the Legends of Awesomeness path and just have every episode have MAJOR focus on B.O.B.- hopefully we're just scraping through the first episodes of executive meddling and we'll be getting a much more even focus on all the monsters, like in the pilot.

Okay, enough whining about my predictions, the episode itself: it was okay. Like I said, Coverton and B.O.B. simply do not have that fun a dynamic, and I am getting tired of beating up on Coverton so much. I just want to see this hatred and rivalry be shared on BOTH sides more- I want to see Coverton taking time out of his day to make the monsters miserable just because like the monsters do to him.

I did like seeing the monsters' reactions to B.O.B. and Coverton's mishaps- again, it's clear the show wants to make B.O.B. the scene-stealer, but unfortunately for them it's Link, Dr. Cockroach and Susan that are REALLY stealing the show.

I agree, I'm really scared that those ads might be turning out to be right. "It should be called the BOB show!"
But really all we've had technically are 4 episodes, even though they are split.
I'm hoping that we'll see more action based episodes, plus we don't even have the full cast yet.
So hopefully we'll see more different dynamics when all the characters show up. I'm really looking forward to Sqweep and Sta'abi. Am I the only one thinking Sqweep will end up being a alien that's not evil?

This episode gets my star of approval. Just cause the banter between Bob and Coverton is hilarious I didn't mind this Bob-centric episode, just seeing Coverton suffer was reward enough. Plus, I'm glad...

Susan: We have to stop this. I'm going to tell Bob (leaves and then comes back) in just one minute (hops on couch).

Susan laugh to hard she grew. Just aww when she goes "Oops"
