I thought we could use a thread to discuss this evil alien. So, what's your opinion on him so far?
Personally I like him. He's funny and I can get a good laugh outta him. I also like the story-arch they've set up...can't wait to see what they do with it.
Jeff Bennett was the perfect choice for Coverton in my opinion. It fits him perfectly.

So far I'm quite fond of him too- I just hope he gets to be a little more evil than he's been so far. I actually sometimes feel just the teensiest bad for him considering the amount of grief the monsters and Monger give him- like, we know he's evil and trying to sabotage the planet, but aside from the Toy From Another World, he's hasn't made any overtly evil gestures.
I'm very curious to see how the other aliens are gonig to come into play as well- are they going to be recurring characters? Villains who have their own place? More roommates?

True true, I hope they make his relationship with the President a really genuine friendship that happens over the course of the series. It would be great character development moments for him.
I'm curious of the other aliens too. It would seem to me that they would have their own place and appear from time to time but...I don't know.

Yeah, that's the question. If the other aliens do appear and form an evil alliance with Coverton as leader, then that means the show's adopted a bit of a story-arc rather than your typical oneshot status-quo-is-god show, which is unusual (but welcome). On the other hand, there's always the possibility that Coverton could be the evil ringleader, but still be living under cover in the monster base.
Ooor the new roommates thing. ^^

That evil alliance idea works pretty good..maybe combined with the roommates idea as well!
I hope it's not always gonna be strictly..well, Monsters vs Aliens. Y'know like "Fruit of all evil" where its a monster instead. It's always good to have a little change in the formula from time to time or else it'll get predictable in a way..if that makes sense.

Well, when I first saw him all I could think was that he was gonna be a Gallaxhar clone but he's actually turning out to interesting. Like I wonder who the heck he's working for? Cover-lord?
