According to the US itunes store, this show is available for purchase with 3 episodes currently available for download. But the Australian store apparently does not have them. Does anyone know how long it might take for Australian iTunes to make these episodes available for purchase? This is really my only way to watch the show, as I've given up on watching television these days. Also, shows like this are normally on a cable channel I don't have access to.

I'm actually looking for something I can download and keep. Or alternatively, a DVD.
You know, the kind of thing I can watch many times over, because I will!
Also, it's easier for me to cap from iTunes then anything else.
But we have to be really careful about piracy in my country, they're cracking down on it a lot now. So "unofficial sources" can get you in trouble.
I suspect the true reason we don't have it is this:
While I was studying broadcast tv, one of my teachers told me something I didn't know about iTunes.
In order for a show to be put on iTunes, they need permission from the local broadcaster to show it. And since they don't like the idea of competion, they will outright block shows to force you to watch them on tv instead.
I don't agree with that though, because it doesn't belong to the TV station, it belongs to the production company and if they say "put it on iTunes" that's all there is to say on the topic.
However, the Monsters Vs Aliens series is complicated. It's being shown on a cable channel and since I don't pay for cable TV, I don't get to see it.
So they're not going to lose me as a viewer because I can't see it anyway!
Anyway, based on the fact that Dragon Riders of Berk (How to train your Dragon) is out here, I only have to be patient and wait for it to be released.

Oh okay...have you tried amazon? Sometimes they have episodes. I usually use camstudio to record off the website I listed. Otherwise you'll have to wait for a dvd. Which may or may not be released based on how good the show does.
