Oh no! They're self-replicating!
If a Scorpion Robot probe had true AI, it'd start making duplicates of itself and sending them out instead of going to fight Susan directly. Then it would use the knowledge gained from the defeats of the duplicates to self improve, modify and become more powerful.

Never thought of that. I assume it will use up stuff it finds to build the robots, rather than creating the matter itself, right? That's not going to sound really good at all. Now I assume this would be a good plot idea in general, pretty much like the Pumpkins. Go, bot, I root for you fella

It depends on how the replication process works.
In general, found materials would be less durable and yield innaccurate test results.
But if the raw materials were available, the alien technology could create the alien invented alloys and fabricate proper duplicates. I'm imagining the Scorpion probe would have to build a factory to manufacture the alloys, then add a production line to assemble the parts into a functional duplicate. There would be a delay between deploying units, so it would be practical to run the factory for a significant period to have a number of units on standby before starting the attacks. And also to have some reserve units for defense in case the factory's location was discovered by Team Monster.
It would also be useful to have backup factories elsewhere in offline mode, to keep them from being detected and to use in case one of the others gets destroyed.

Definitely that's a nice way of organising the invasion. Building your barracks inside enemy territory. Nevertheless, I believe the Scorpion pal here knows best than us, right? I mean he's up to it

I lost contact with you fools because the military started trying to capture me. Though, I was captured, I have escaped. I did not find Susan because she was not there. She was probably fighting my kind. Well, reason you still here is because whe didn't find you, fella =p Now.....your kind? I thought you were just one left?! There were many scattered on the earth after the ship exploded.

Keep us up to date bro. How's the war coming along? I'm back at my home-planet.. being repaired. Soon, I will strike a desert, in which the monsters should be in, after I will destroy them.

Yeah, good luck with that fella. I guess it took you 5 months to reach your planet and a proper radio transmitter, so I can explain this whole delay of your news. I thought you were dead! But gladly, there's still chance to get rid of the pesty monsters.

Susan pulled it it off!
Word of advice, if you must fight enemies, always do it on level ground, any hole is one they can throw you into and jump on your head until you beg for mercy! Or your head comes off, whichever comes first.
Take some inspiration from Hiro's Bot Fighter in Big Hero 6, redesign your joints so if external stress is applied, the parts manually seperate. That way they can reconnect automatically instead of being damaged in battle. It won't help much if crushing force is applied, but at least you'll be able to reattach your tail if Susan pulls hard again......
