Let me guess; you're wondering why I'm introducing two OCs instead of one, right? Well apparently my friend, the two of them are going to appear for a MvA fan fic I'm planning out. And yes, they do actually know each other. In fact, I might even say that they're friends. But back on topic; I'm just going to post up their bios for the world to see, you know. Just in case I let them join any of the Rps. For now I'll start with Mo:
Name: Mo (no last name. On his planet names can only have one sylable. Don't ask *shrugs*)
Age: 15, at least in his home planet's years
Speices: Yoppian (alien species). Basically they're are amphibians (like frogs, newts, ext.) who have a loosely humanoid form. Their skin color can be either a shade of blue, purple or yellow though they tend to have small marking dotted all over their bodies. They have webbed feet and rounded eyes, a nose that looks like a tiny nozzle and they have antennas. Guys have one short antennae while the gals can either have two or three longer antennaes depending on their genetics, and the average adult Yoppian usually grows as tall as approx. 3ft. And I made the species up two years before MvA actually. Had I a lot of time on my hands back then x]
Appearence: Dark (ish) turquoise skin, orange circular eyes, green markings
Abilities: He doesn't have any super powers to speak of, but he can swim really fast (though not as fast as Link) and can see very well in the dark. His running isn't really that great though (he trips over himself a lot when he doesx])
Personality: Independent, a good leader and very opinionated, Mo is the kind of, um, person that isn't afraid to speak his mind- even if others don't agree with him. He can be impatient, compulsive and stubborn at times; he sometimes he has trouble listening to others' opinions when they're different from his, and its hard for him to admit that he's wrong. He doesn't intentionally try to act like a jerk though, sometimes he just can't help it. If you get to know him, or if he happens to be in an alright mood, you can also see he's a very down-to-earth (uh, should I rephrase that?) person who belives that no one should have their rights taken away.
Story: WARNING- 'Tis lengthy. You have been warned...
In a planet far away from earth, there exists a dominate species living within rain forest covered lands, along with your daily dose of highly populated metropolitan areas. They, like many other species, are very aware of life on other planets and even practice intergalactic space travel. The Yoppian government, although have ignored Earth's existence for years, had recently set up "Anti-earth laws" after an over-reaction to finding out Galaxar was defeated by planet Earth, well-known for it's people not being very high-tech. The laws limit the info that is shown, taught and passed on about earth to a point that you can be arrested for showing a picture of Earth. They were set up to bring less attention to Earth as to eliminate the chance of Yoppian citizens going to Earth to wreak havoc on it now that the planet is more well-known and prone to extraterrestrial attacks.
Mo, after hearing about Earth's triumph towards Gallaxar, wanted to learn more about earth and it's inhabitants- only for the Anti-earth laws to start kicking in. He started to become even more curious about Earth, making him aggravated that he couldn't learn anything about it and making him be completely against the "Ainti-earth laws." This only though lead him to quickly become an outcast, and to be deemed a "rebel" among even his former friends. After dealing with everyone's disstollerance towards him for his dislike towards the set of laws, he finally reached his breaking point; he didn't want deal with everyone being against his back, and made a rash decision to travel to a nearby planet to study earth without his parents consent, and to share what he learned about earth once he had enough information dispite the fact that he clearly could put him to prison for it. Yet when he ran away with his spaceship, he ended up misreading it's GPA system completely which caused him to go a different route, leading him to Earth itself. His spaceship ended up being pulled down by Earth's gravity causing his ship to tumble down and crash into the backyard of 16 year old Katie (yes, the girl that ended up literally carrying her own BF around xD) and her 14 year old sister Julie (my human OC ^-^). Immediately after the crash the two sisters discovered the ship. Katie somehow managed to find a way inside the ship (which was about the size of four mini vans), and, while dragging Julie inside of it, discovered an unconscious Mo. Julie brought Mo inside the house while Katie brought in a few "artifacts" from the ship (their parents were going out and they left Katie in charge). a half an hour later while they were debating what to do with him, Mo woke up, experiencing a major extraterrestrial culture shock (go figure =P).
At first he, along with the two sisters, couldn't understand him at all shortly after he tried to speak to them with complete confusion and surprise(he spoke a completely different language), but when he heard Julie say a phrase that he recognized from his home planet, he realized that the language they spoke was one of the other languages taught in his homeworld. With that in mind he grabbed one of the items withing Katie's pile of "artifacts," which was an electronic Yoppian-to-Human dictionary (he only knew the language vaguely). He used it to try to speak with them and to find out what they were saying, which turned out to be a some help to him and both Mo and Katie and Julie. He asked them (slowly) where he was what happened, but when he found out that he was on earth be became panicked. But before Katie and Julie to had a chance to even know why, their parents came home and they had to hide him without explaining why he was being shoved into some cramped hiding place. After their parents were out of Mo's rang of sight, and also after they had discovered a UFO behind their backyard before then, they let Mo out of the hiding place.Julie the sisters tried to explained what was going on, even though Mo was still confused and baffled by what was happening. Julie let Mo rest in her room, although Mo still didn't really know what was happening. The next day Mo discovered that his ship was taken away by Law enforcements of Earth, and he wasn't all that happy about such either.
Throughout the next two months things became less confusing for Mo; Julie was teaching him how to speak human as he used his electronic Human-to-Yoppian dictionary less, got a much better understanding on what was really going on through the confusement he experienced when he arrived and even learned a lot about Earth and the human race, even though he mostly stayed inside Katie and Julie's house so that he wouldn't be discovered (Julie and, and on a rare case, Katie would bring him outside carrying him inside an empty backpack and let him
see and breath through the partially unzipped openings). At one point Mo realized that human weren't the most advanced species out there and held that against the sisters as an excuse for being frustrated or impatient with them, but but that phase went away after Katie readily convinced him otherwise. Though the phase really stopped when he started to connect more to Katie and Julie (although more than 50% of the time he did so with Julie).
After the first few months Katie and Julie's parents finally discovered Mo when the sisters were in school. Calling enforcements to take Mo away, Katie and Julie had to go home early. Julie at first was completly against Mo being taken away, but the enforcements who arrive however weren't a bunch of FBI agents in helicopters and cars- nope, it was the monsters! They had arrived at their house once before while Mo's ship was being taken away to find out more information about the UFO (Julie had told them a few months before that she and Katie saw it crash an that that the ship's door wasn't open when they was it. Nothing else). Katie and Julie pretty much explained everything that happened. Mo even added some things to what they were saying with mentionables that had caused him to land on earth (by then he could speak English well enough to be understood). After er exlpanation finished the monsters though that it would be best that Dr. Cockroach could restore Mo's captured ship so he could go back home to his home planet, but Mo would have to stay at Area 5X during then for the fear of being discovered or even being captured by someone with negative intentions, and to help Dr. C with making the ship worked (Dr.C had used some of the parts of the ship for his invention x]). Julie was a little upset that Mo couldn't stay her home, but she accepted their deal as long as they could allow her and Katie to visit Area 5X to see Mo. Since then she and Katie has made visits to Area 5X (Katie mostly went along so she could follow Link around. LinkxKatie anybody?).
But all of a sudden- WAIT! Just kidding! The lengthy story hour if finished. I'm going to make Julie's bio tomorrow since the back story took quite a bit of my typing energy. Untill then...uh, Adios? And I'll probably post up a picture of Mo and Julie that I drew once Julie's bio is done, which will include Julie's (much less lengthy) side of the story. I really didn't mean for it to go that long ^-^"
