I think one's good enough. No. Age difference is only a con if it has a negative impact on the way the characters relate to each other, or it's big enough to be reeeaaallly creepy (like say, if your OC is jailbait). That is a token flaw. I'd say you've got conflict material right there. >>Despite<< her size? "Well honey, it's hard for anyone to love a 49ft tall nightmare, but in your case, I'll make an exception."

^again I think he's right.........I'm really sorry but you REALLY need a con.I've seen alot of Mary Sues in My other fandoms like Storm Hawks. I'll Make a Thread in The OC thread addressing this(If That's Okay.)

Lets look at Link x Cockroach:
Pros: plenty of history together shared status of suddenly becoming an outsider in their world and, unlike BOB or insecto, being intelligent enough to feel the isolation and woe Complementary Physiques/slashfic archetypes (brawny and brainy) Atomic Gin Fizz is the only substance that can alleviate the pain of being the last of your species Missing Link is of academic interest to Dr. Cockroach, especially as a rare individual that managed to survive a species-wide extinction. In between amorous romps, much can be learned. FOR SCIENCE!
Cons: Let's be honest, after a few decades of cohabitation, they need space. Put them alone without a third wheel character and they'll get sick of each other. Dr. Cockroach will resent fans immediately casting him as the Uke. Now that they've escaped and they aren't into the world domination gig, they really don't have much in common. There is a wealth of Odd-Couple style conflict waiting to happen. Cockroach is irritated by Link's misogynistic streak.

XD But as for that last con, I haven't really seen that much evidence canonically... Pro(s): Lovers' Banter would be epic. Con(s): Fairly likely (in Link's case, I'd say highly likely) that neither swings that way to begin with. Heh, sorry, just felt the need to add my two cents. ^^; *silently slinks off once again*

Well, Dr. Cockroach is very Gentlemanly, all *kissing of the hand* and "Dear". Link, on the other hand, his a big womanizer and does not take kindly to being outshined by a female.
About the direction in which Link swings, that could be little more than a temporary issue. Many species of fish and amphibians change sex over the course of their life. Some switch male/female organs based on the time of year, the nutrition available, the sex ratio in the local population, or even on whichever individual establishes social dominance.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that part in the film. XD Although, frankly, to me, he doesn't seem to be quite the shameless skirt-chaser that most fans make him out to be. There is the one instance at the Murphy's party when he goes, "Que' pasa, girlfriend?" to some random chick, just in passing, and... that's it. 0.o About the direction in which Link swings, that could be little more than a temporary issue. Ehhh, hah... concerning Link, I... I dunno if I want to think about tha-- OH GOD TOO LATE!! D8 *mental picture(!)*

Yeah, it seemed that they were trying to make Link big on women according to the Art Book, but not much went into the final film. :O
