Well, I was just wondering since MvA is a Dreamworks movie, I was wondering what you thought of the rest.
Here's a reference list:
Antz The Prince of Egypt The Road to El Dorado Chicken Run Joseph: King of Dreams Shrek Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas Shrek 2 Shark Tale Madagascar Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit Over the Hedge Flushed Away Shrek the Third Bee Movie Kung Fu Panda Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa Monsters vs. Aliens How to Train Your Dragon
Upcoming: Shrek Forever After (Originally Shrek Goes Fourth) MegaMind (Originally Master Mind) Kung Fu Panda 2 The Croods (Originally Crood Awakening) Puss in Boots: The Story of an Ogre Killer Madagascar 3 The Guardians of Childhood Shrek 5 (Cancelled?) Gil's All Fright Diner Me and My Shadow How to Train Your Dragon 2
My favorites are The Prince of Egypt, The Road to El Dorado, Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, and, of course, Monsters vs. Aliens!
I've actually seen all of them but Bee Movie. My mom and my little brothers went to it and said it was so horrible that I shouldn't see it. I'll take their word for it. But the least favorite of the ones I've seen would have to be Shark Tale.
I'd have to say, of the upcoming films announced, I'm most looking forward to Master Mind, because the premise sounds like it'll poke fun at the old harmless television villains, and Crood Awakening, because I'm curious to see how Chris Sanders directs it.
Your thoughts on Dreamworks?

How to Train Your Dragon should be great! I read the book and it's hilarious! XD Though it's a children's book, I highly recommend it for a bunch of good laughs. The characters and tribes have silly names. The main character's name is Hiccup the Horrendous Haddock III and he is the next in line to become chief of the tribe, the Hairy Hooligans. No, I'm not making this up. XD
And how dare your siblings critisize Bee Movie! It's one of my favorites! It's so cute and funny!

The only Dreamworks animated movies I haven't seen were Joseph: King of Dreams and Wallace and Gromot: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit. But I highly enjoy Bee Movie a lot. I thought it was cute too. I've only seen half of the movie Antz but I never cared too much about Flushed Away a lot.
How to Train your Dragon should be good cause I'm a big time lover on dragons and the sequels on Madagascar, Shrek and Kung Fu Panda should be great too.

Wow. I'm realizing how few of DW's films I've actually seen.
I caught The Road To El Dorado once on cable and thought it was a superlative film and was very impressed. I saw Over the Hedge on the bus to Canada for my senior trip and was not moved at all (even though I enjoy Steve Carell). And I've seen all the Shrek movies, and by the third, I was like... Okay, they've reached saturation on this franchise. The fact that they're going to spin it out so much kinda disappoints me.
Master Mind has me REALLY, REALLY excited because I love campy superhero/villain pastiches, so I'm glad that they're still putting out non-sequel stuff. (Even though I will instantly cast off my jaded sequel-hating blase attitude the second an MvA sequel is announced.)

My ratings of the Dreamworks movies I've seen, from least favorite to favorite:
1. Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas 2. Shrek 3. Madagascar 4. Road to El Dorado 5. Chicken Run 6. Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were-rabbit 7. Madagascar 2 8. Kung-Fu Panda 9. Monsters vs. Aliens
Of the up-coming movies, I'm looking forward most to Master Mind, because I'm curious to see how the plot will go, and Kung Fu Panda 2, because, well, I liked the original. A lot.

Here are the Dreamworks' movies ive seen...if they have a star next to the name, that means I've seen it, if it doesn't that means I haven't.
Antz*
The Prince of Egypt*
Chicken Run*
Joseph: King of Dreams
Shrek* (only the 1st and 2nd one, hated the 3rd)
Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron* (my second most favorite DW movie after MvA!)
Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas
Shark Tale
Madagasgar*(it was okay, didn't turn out to be a favorite though)
W&G: Curse of the Were-Rabbit* (third favorite DW movie after MvA and Spirit)
Over the Hedge* (kind of boring)
Flushed Away*
Bee Movie* (I liked the beginning of it but then it went very downhill and got annoying)
Kung Fu Panda*
Madagasgar 2* (same as the 1st one)
Monsters Vs Aliens* (best movie I've seen in a hecka long time.)

For their new movies I'm dreading the coming Shrek stuff, but I'm looking forward to Kung Fu Panda 2. I don't know much about the other movies to know for sure.

I'm curious guys: What do you think of this whole Dreamworks vs. Pixar debate?
Me, I think it's a never-ending cycle of "I like Pixar because Dreamworks isn't serious enough!" and "I like Dreamworks because Pixar is too serious!"

There's no reason you can't like both for what they are: film companies. Sometimes I want to watch a serious movie, sometimes I want to laugh. But the whole serious/silly thing doesn't seem to fit either company. Antz was pretty bleak, while A Bug's Life was bright and colorful. Both films had serious moments, and both had some comedy. That goes for each and every movie both companies have produced. Anyone that likes/dislikes one company for being serious/silly is just a fanboy.

I'm pretty sure I've seen all of them except for Joseph: King of Dreams and Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas. I actually though that the Bee Movie was really cute even though I'm deathly afraid of them in real life =p
As for the upcomings, I'm interested in seeing Kung Fu Panda 2 (I loved the first, so I'm wondering how the sequel will go) and Ho to Train Your Dragon, since some of my friends who have read the book said that it was utterly halarious. Plus, I like dragons a lot thanks to the Spyro games.

I almost missed the post about the DW vs. Pixar debate. Oh, that won't do!
I'll be honest, I dismiss at least half of the movies from both studios out of hand, simply because they don't grab me, and I don't have any sort of prejudgice towards one or the other. All in all though, I'm a little more on the Dreamworks team because I enjoy the fact that they aren't bound so tightly by the Disney zeitgeist (case in point: I doubt you'd get boob jokes in a Pixar flick... XD). Not that I have anything against Disney by ANY means, but I'm reminded of how jaded I am at times when I watch their product. DW's style of storytelling and humor satifies my particular tastes a little more.

On the Dreamworks vs. Pixar debate, I'll say this. I have NEVER been disappointed with a Pixar flick, as opposed to Dreamworks, with myself being disappointed with a majority of their movies. However, I could never really get IN to Pixar or any of their movies- not because I didn't find them entertaining or anything, but their movies always feel so final. This isn't a bad thing, by any means, but at the end of the movie, I just kind of... walk away from it. I have no real desire to see it again or look forward to seeing a possible sequel, or get involved in any kind of community for the movie because there's nothing that can be done with it. It's perfect, it's finished, move on to the next movie! However, when I was done watching Kung Fu Panda and Monsters vs. Aliens, not only did I enjoy both movies immensely, I had a strong urge to continue indulging in the series by logging onto FF.net and checking out the fanfictions and forums. Now, I'm not saying I want Pixar to be more open-ended about their movies just so I can feel better about myself for writing fanfictions, but I'm just saying, I like the fact that I can love a Dreamworks movie and contribute to it through the fandom.
... Plus I get sick of Pixar-worship.

I got kind of tired of Pixar after my big obsession with The Incredibles. After that movie, I don't know, future Pixar movies I saw seemed...slow and boring.

The art-style of How To Train Your Dragon (of what I've seen) reminds me a lot of Dragon Hunters- and that's not a bad thing. Oobermind (I'm getting used to the name change) sounds and looks pretty interesting so far- I'll have to wait for the commercials to see if I find it funny or not (that's generally how I gauge a Dreamworks movie. If I can watch the previews and laugh every time, chances are I'm going to laugh through the movie).
