Hopefully so. ^_^ We just need a really good fanfiction to latch onto.
Honestly, compared to other movie fandoms, we're really, really lucky that Monsters vs. Aliens is continuing in all these forms. I mean, how many other movie communities admit they're genuinely excited to seeing their favorite movie continue like we can?

Well besides what they're trying to do by continuing more of Kung Fu Panda and Madagascar (and maybe perhapes Bee Movie too if the halloween special thing for that is true) I say that we're very lucky that we can still honor, communticate and grow as real fans that stay true to their word and honor to this wonderful heck of a movie. So back forth to the halloween short. Recorded it in HD, saw it, loved it and watch it again for the third time row after they were done showing it twice! ^^ Dr. C's hate for halloween and the swirly pop thing was the best thing that I've ever saw. I'm so happy that we got to see what he was like as a kid.....sorta! But did anyone but me notice that in the flashback, young Dr. Cockroach's eyes look blue?

Aw, it was so fun to see Cockroach as a kid- in the flashback AND in the present! XD As silly as that might have been, I felt it was a wonderful little introspective into the inner-workings of Cockroach's mind. Sort of. I might be reading too much into it.

Yeah, I'm glad Dreamworks went with a TV series approach this time. (I personally don't think that a sequel movie would be all that enjoyable as the first, anyway. D:)
But if he was a yellow-eyed demon child, we all might've wanted to throw him in the trash. ;)

We? I would be the only person from this board that refuses to throw him in the trash and we all know that CrazyRabidPony would agree with me on that too XDD His eye color from both a kid and to an old (I was gonna say young, but that's not even a real fact anymore lol) adult keeps throwing my mind off too much, so I don't know if he was really born with blue eyes or not. Dreamworks really made a bad goof...either that or Dr. C decided to switch onto color contact lens

But adult!Cockroach was only ever seen in black and white- we couldn't see his real eye-color. I just assumed they were changed when he mutated himself.

Now that's what I would say a perfectly good reason to use since seeing another one of his past flashbacks was the first time us fans ever got to see it into color and not black and white. To be truthful, before this came out, I couldn't figure out HOW the lollipop came to a lost if it made Dr. Cockroach hate halloween so bad. I thought it had something to do with his parents because grown-ups can get picky from what their children can and cannot eat.
The bully thing was the last thing that came to my mind. A very smart choice for them to use. Oh, and during the third time I watch it after I had it recorded, I thought that young Dr. Cockroach's costume was super cute. His helmet/mask was a SPACE PLANET! A space planet! Which means that he was a nerd growing up. AWWW!

I saw some behind-the-scenes stuff on YouTube, and they did try Dr. Cockroach with blue eyes. (Maybe because of Hugh Laurie?) But I dunno, it just looked weird. Haha.

And that, perhaps, it was this act of bullyism that turned him into a MAD scientist nerd. MWUAHAHA!

It was. :) I already downloaded it for AMV use, but I'm not sure if I'll use it. That NBC logo would seriously bug me. >:\

Oh there's been some worse videos out there that still have strange logos or funny words on it out there. You could always wait til it comes out to DVD, but I would seriously doubt that cause it could take another year for halloween for them to have it release.
I can't help but noticing in the flashlack sequence (I re-look at it again on Youtube) that Dr. Cockroach's lower body look a bit chunky as a kid. It could be the costume that he's wearing doing that to him, or maybe he went through a chubby phase as a child XDD

Looking at the flashback again, I just realized one of the bullies was dressed in a cat suit. So was the kid he ended up giving the lollipop to.

Hey you're right Aurum, it was expect the kid in the cat costume that he gave away his lollipop to was a girl and her costume was purple instead of black. I think that bully from the kitty cat costume during Dr. C's flashback scene might of been a boy. Does Dr. C have something against people who are dress up as cats, hot dogs or devils? That's a freaky weird thing to have spotten out.
