Did he say blue lagoon? I thought he said black lagoon. I can sorta sense why that joke needed to be a part of it.
So....Dr. Cockroach hated halloween cause of a lost lollipop? That's it! *tries not to laugh* Sorry I don't mean to sound like I'm making fun of my favorite character, but....this is Dr. Cockroach! I think they could of made his hate for halloween a little bit more than that. I was expecting something more tragic, but I'm glad that we MIGHT get more cameo appearance from his human days.

I could actually see him getting that lollipop at the end of the halloween special, but....he's live around longer before Susan was even born, so...I'm sure that lollipop is long and gone, and it's gonna be hard to replace that one for a new one to give to him.

You know what? IT DID! You must of been thinking about that alien word Stitch says in the movie that the aliens sound offensive and naughty! I only wish that his voice could of sounded so close to him, but that was good enough for me!

I know this may sound weird, but I'm trying to keep my expectations pretty low for the special, along with just about all follow-ups to the film. That way, if it's bad or subpar, I'm not disappointed; if it's good, I'm pleasantly surprised. That said, I expected, from the beginning, any spin-offs to be pure comedy as opposed to Action-Comedy-with-dash-of-Drama like the film (which I'm fine with, personally, but I understand why you guys may be a bit disappointed at the short film and specials not having the same depth as the movie). So it just seems natural to me that the Doctor would have this dramatized hatred of Halloween over something ridiculous and silly like you guys were talking about. Those few clips did make me laugh, though, so I'm definitely seeing it if I can.  And yes, I too thought 'Stitch' at the clip with the Alien Jack-o-lantern; mainly in the laugh. x3 |

You know when the TV show came out it said in disney adventure magazine that the aliens word meant raw vegetable LOL XDD |

That's certainly a reasonable attitude, and I do not blame you at all for not getting excited like the rest of us crazies.  I feel the same way about the Madagascar Christmas special and the Kung Fu Panda Christmas special (well, with the latter I have an attitude of it being sub-par until proven hilarious), but weirdly enough, I've found it difficult for me not to be stupid happy to see this special. I don't know why... I've just really fallen in love with each of the characters and I almost feel they would have to really WORK to make a Monsters vs. Aliens special that I wouldn't like. I know that sounds like blind fangirlism, but I don't know. |
