That's Doug Dimmsdale, owner of the Dimmadome to you, miss.
And no, I thought Totally Spies was absolutely ridiculous. It's not horrendous, but I find the concept of high school teenager heroes to be rather... ummm... outrageous. There's a very good reason teenagers are not recruited for jobs like that. I know it's just a kid's show, but I still find it silly.
Okay, back on topic. I still want zombies! ;D

Ah, random surprise FOP quote FTW! Totally blows my crappy Scarlet Letter callback out of the water.
...Yeah, gotta agree about TS. What was the POINT of that show? I mean, it had its moments (rarely), but the suspension of disbelief was a little tough.
ZOMMIES!
And a necromancer to control them?
Or radioactivity/T-virus ripoff/whatever?
What do you think would likely happen? Most of the MvA universe is loosely science based, but I can easily see mysticism coexisting without trouble, especially for some of the classic gothic horror monsters. Vampires, anybody?
(The more I think about it, the more I wish Bob Schooley and Mark McCorkle would helm the MvA show. I think they could handle it correctly. Maybe it's a pipe dream on my part, but I can hope...)

Yeah. I don't know why I chose to associate with that character. I'm acting much more like Hathorne (in jest of course) when it comes to shipping. Arthur... would be if I secretly had an OC to fall for Doc... That would just be creepy. I'm almost 30 for the love of pancakes!
As far as the necromancer, it could have some hokey scientific explanation. A lot of the bad zombie movies I've seen feature "scientific" methods for controlling the undead. It's usually along the lines of "I make, so I boss! Obey me!". I'm referring to a lot of the really cheesy 1920's-1950's zombie B-movies. In other words, there's no substantial explanation given. Which means, they could get away with it in MVA! Hooray!

Missing Link: "First new monster in years, we're gonna get like a wolfman or a...or a mummy? Just, you know, somebody to play cards with."
Those are options for the series. ;)

Thinking back over the movie again, I just realized the extra scene at the end of the credits with the President just offered a perfect excuse to create monsters. With all the nuclear missiles in America launched, that means radiation mutation. We might actually see EsGargantuam!

Oh, snap, you're right! I tend to decanonize that scene because I hate it so much, but we could get some Lilo and Stitch-esque action goin' on! Yeah!

You know... I watched the Mythbusters episode when they put the whole "cockroaches are extremely adaptable to radiation" myth, and it's pretty disappointing, really. I mean, they're hardier than humans, but in the actual nuclear holocaust situation, they kind of lose to a whole bunch of other bugs.
Not to mention the whole reason insects are more invulerable than humans to radiation is a lack of soft tissue. Which, in the case of our dear Doc, is still an issue.
Anyways, there's also the whole matter of the nuclear winter, which will kill off basically all of the insect population pretty darn fast after a nuclear holocaust.
*adjusts glasses* And that's my info drop of the day. Sorry to spoil everyone's fun.

Ah, I loved that episode... *Mythbusters FTW!*
I actually like to think it contributes to his character, personally. That he continued to stubbornly believe the cockroach was the most resilient creature on earth and dedicated his life to proving it, which is part of the reason why he likes his new form so much.
