This couple is cute, but I somehow think there were more bigger hints for the Dr. C/Susan couple than Link/Susan. I kinda like this one too but it's not as a big deal to me than supporting the other one cause they're very too largely couples. I remember eariler on Fanfiction.Net there was one single B.O.B./Susan fanfic somewhere and that was there only time that I saw it happening cause there's very little bit of Susan/Link fanfics. Speaking of the couple, there was one scene in the movie which I was really confused where Link was doing some kung fu moves before he broke his back. I couldn't tell if he was trying to impress Susan on purpose or if he wanted to act like a show-off cause we know how he is  |

You know, hint-wise, I'm going to reiterate that there are more Link/Susan moments than Dr. C moments. Yeah, the Doc's always really sweet and supportive to her, but that doesn't really seem to equate as much to a crush as Link openly trying to impress her (which, OMFG, he so was...). If you're just looking for Dr. C/Susan proof, that's what you'll find, but from a broader perspective, there's more going on in this ship.
Right now, I think the only quantifiable Susan/Link fic is "Something There" by MidnightMoon14. But "Scrape Away," while openly Link/Katie and Dr. C/Susan, deals with disappointment and jealousy issues on Link's end in regards to his (CANON, dammit!) crush on Susan.
*taps pencil on notebook* Hmm... Might hafta do something about that...

Now that you brought that up Mansion, I sorta sense a feeling that Link was jealous Susan got to beat the robot alien all by herself with Dr. Cockroach and B.O.B's help when he was sorta laying around on the job. Could be that. Jealously and being a show-off. Yep! Sounds just like someone we all know and love don't we? ;D

Well, being a show-off generally means you want to impress people, so, yes, Link was trying to impress her by being a show-off. But yeah, there's some evidence to suggest that Link likes her a little (read: a lot) more than the typical babe on the beach.

Oh, yeah, he was so jealin' about the kickass defeat of the robot by everyone else BUT him. As the Doc said, "Poor Link... After all that tough talk, you got outmonstered by a girl..." Oh, but who could blame him? It kind of was an epic fail on his part. His ego must have taken a pretty bad bruising.
I don't think he held it against her for very long, though. Next scene, all seemed right with the world.

Too true. Link totally needed a hug at that point. But Susan's little subtle ego-stroking worked just as well.

I'm just really easily distracted by plot bunnies. I sit down to write a fic about Susan in Paris and end up scribbling down a bunch of nonsense about Dr. C exploding baking soda and vinegar.
