Totally!
I was just talking about this in another thread, but... The part where he saves from falling and pulls her up and his holding her and they SMILE... So cute... <3 <3 <3
Also, the part when she meets all the monsters in The Area and Link is on her HEAD... *dies* So amazing.
*flails* Ugh, they have so many shippy moments!!!

ACH I TOTALLY MISSED THAT. *smacks forehead* But it sounds kyuute. :3
Seriously though, it's funny how much I've discovered I like this pairing. I love how they are so... balancing to each other. Susan is very much a wide-eyed idealist and Link is just a bit cynical, a realist, really, yet they aren't total opposites. They're very complimenting to each other, I believe.

Yush! And I like the way he says "Wow. Look at you" when he's on her head.

The moment I was talking about was RIGHT after everybody else's favorite moment of Susan seeing Dr. C under the bridge of Gall's ship and smiling her really happy smile. And everyone sees that and makes it a Susan/Dr. C moment, TOTALLY disregarding the epic Link/Susan love, and the fact that LINK is saving her.
They do have very complimentary personalities. And my big relationship fanwank for Link is that he needs to find a girl he respects rather than chasing after fainting violets, and he really does genuinely respect Susan.

Yeppers. Link also touches Susan's face when he's on her head. Squee-ness! Link is also the one who declares that they're gonna save Susan when she was abducted.

Great. Now I'm going to have convince my parents to go see MvA a fourth time just to see that scene again. (Obsessed? Why, yes, only a little!)
You're very right about the respect thing. Actually, there's this cute moment in the Junior Novelization, when the Monsters were flying home after the robot fight and Susan was talking about Derek as she always does. B.O.B. and Cockroach both mention how much they would like to meet Derek, when Link, in his ego-shattered depressed funk-state, mutters "I knew it, we're not normal enough for her. She's ashamed of us." like he's all sad and jealous (sort of. Kind of. You have to read it). Susan is quick to comfort him, of course (well, she comforts them all, but it's mostly Link who just needs comforting). Whatever. It was cute and sweet.

I only saw the movie twice... T.T I'm waiting not-so-patiently for the DVD.
Awwwah! Poor Link... I loved that scene in the movie, when he's all ego-shattered and Dr. C is teasing him and Susan's totally cool about it and supports his completely transparent sleep apnea lie. I almost do wanna go out and get the junior novelization, but they're usually kind of a disappointment and I'm saving up for the DVD, anyway... But, yeah, that sounds aborable to the max.

It kind of bugged me how there was a lot of stuff in the book that wasn't even in the movie...but it made me enjoy the movie more because I couldn't guess what was going to happen next xD I bought the junior novelization before it came out. *steals all the dvds* mine

I'm really, REALLY considering preordering from Amazon, so it's delivered to my house. Amazon's usually pretty cheap, too, and there's free shipping on almost everything. I'm so about to order The M Files and the art book... So soon... Just need a little more cash... XD
Special editions are the BOMB! I hope I don't end up buying the crappy non-special edition... I really am almost broke... ;_;

It is adorable.
The junior novelization actually has a lot of differences from the movie. The entire ending scene and destruction of Gallaxhar's ship is different, for instance (in the end, the monsters get an audience with the President and in the mothership, the monsters escort Susan to the exit before fighting the clones), plus a lot of subtle dialogue changes. I actually recommend you try to pick it up next time you can (it's only six dollars) just to see some of the altered scenes (most Junior novelizations are based on early versions of the script, I believe, so these might actually be missing scenes). Plus B.O.B. and Susan get a nice moment together. :3
Edit: Dag me an my slow typing!
