I'm always really proud when I can make a BOB line work. Like, in this other fic I'm writing, he's had, like, two lines. I just can't think of BOBish things for him to say.
Link steals a lot of dialogue in my ensemble stuff, I've noticed. Yay, Link! <3
Y'know, since this is a thread about him and Susan and all... ^^;

The Link Love Continues to spread! *Has been playing the MvA PS3 game for about two hours now*
Speaking of which, there's this kinda cute scene where Susan is sitting on a gas station and Link is sitting by her, leaning on her leg, just looking all... cool and collected, and comfortable.

It was pretty cute. The game isn't all that ship-tastic, however. Actually, the monsters are kinda mean to each other. Susan herself is very snarky and sarcastic, and she seems more annoyed with being a monster than she is sad and heart-broken like in the movie (Derek isn't even mentioned in the game). Although there was this cute scene where everybody thought B.O.B. died in an explosion (he wasn't, of course, he was standing next to everyone and only THOUGHT he was dead).

Odd. Wonder why they did that. But the BOB moment sounds precious.
Wish I had some Susan/Link inspiration... Ugh. I so wanna write them; it's just... My muse never does anything I actually want. Just whales me over the head with random crap.

In other news, I've just completed the Monsters vs. Aliens game, and there at least two other little hints.
The first, was right after Susan had her "I'm not Susan, I'm GINORMICA! Demolish the robot!" moment.
Link: Wow. If she were just 44 feet shorter, she'd be my kind of woman.
And the other, after Ginormica was kidnapped by Gallaxhar:
B.O.B.: What do we do?! If we don't get her back, we won't have anyone to play cards with!
Cockroach: Especially since she lets The Missing Link win...
Link: Hey! She does not let me win!
XD
I was grinning like a madwoman after those moments.

I wish I owned the game, but I've been watching this walkthrough on YouTube since it's the next best thing...kinda.
It annoys me how they constantly refer to him as 'The Missing Link'. They mostly called him Link in the movie, so it should be similar in the game.
Anyway, I'm convinced that canon-wise it's supposed to be Susan/Link. Susan/Dr. C is cute, and I like it (as does most of the MvA fandom), but I wish there were more Susan/Link stories out there. D: They're a cute couple~
